Hey Chris, Getting ready for the next podcast I posted this September 10th on my FaceBook page.
Watched another Video Nasty. This time it’s 1975’s “Werewolf And The Yeti”. It stars The Spanish Horror King, Paul Naschy. I haven’t seen any Paul Naschy movies in years because the ones I did see were kind of boring. I’m afraid this movie will not make me run out and buy more Naschy films. Quick plot: Expedition to find the Yeti in the Himalayas goes poorly. Women in the cave are monsters. One bites Paul he becomes a wolfman. There is a flaying of a woman’s back which I’m sure put this on the Video Nasties list. At the end there’s a little fight between Werewolf and Yeti,but you will not care. I saw a print off YouTube that was clear,but very dark in outside scenes. The outdoor scenes are so dark I’m not entirely sure what happened. The wolfman transformation scene is sad. The Yeti is a big dark (not white) ape like suit. Wonder if anyone else thought Naschy looks (just a bit like) John Belushi and Marlon Brando. I would take a pass on this one.
